Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, 1915–2006 (German-British soprano and voice teacher)

* Dame Elisabeth Schwarzkopf was among the foremost singers of lieder, and was renowned for her performances of Viennese operetta. She starred in five feature films for Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels, in which she acted, sang and played the piano. After retiring from the stage in 1971, she was a voice teacher internationally. Schwarzkopf died in her sleep during the night of 2–3 August 2006 at her home in Schruns, Vorarlberg, Austria, aged 90. Her reputation has remained tarnished by what seems to have been an active Nazi party membership.

John Paul Young (Scottish-born Australian pop singer)

* John Paul Young had a 1978 worldwide hit with the single, "Love Is in the Air", which peaked at No. 3 on the Australian charts, No. 7 in the US Billboard Hot 100, and No. 5 in the UK singles chart. The associated album, Love Is in the Air reached the top 40 on the Australian albums chart. European chart success for "Love Is in the Air" included No. 2 in Norway and Sweden, No. 3 in Austria and Germany, No. 5 in Switzerland and No. 9 in the Netherlands. The song peaked at No. 2 in South Africa. As a result of his popularity in Australia he was crowned 'King of Pop' in October 1978.

Baz Luhrmann's internationally successful film Strictly Ballroom (released in 1992) featured a new version of "Love Is in the Air" and Young's single once again peaked at No. 3 on the Australian Singles Charts and became a top 50 hit in the UK. In 2000, he played to his largest audience as a featured performer at the closing ceremony of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Pimp C, 1973-2007 (American rapper, singer, and producer)

* Pimp C was best known for his work with best friend Bernard "Bun B" Freeman as a founding member of the Underground Kingz (UGK). Their third album, Ridin' Dirty, reached #2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

n January 2002, Pimp C was sentenced to eight years in prison for violating his probation by ignoring his sentence to community service stemming from an earlier aggravated assault charge. While he was in prison, Rap-A-Lot Records released Sweet James Jones Stories in 2005, most of which consisted of unreleased freestyle recordings. Pimp C was released on 30 December 2005 and placed on parole until December 2007.

Pimp C was found dead in a hotel in West Hollywood, California, on 4 December 2007.

Fumihito, Prince Akishino (Japanese Prince)

* Prince Fumihito is the second son of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko and currently second in line to the Chrysanthemum Throne. Since his marriage to Kiko Kawashima on 29 June 1990, he has held the title of Akishino-no-miya (generally translated into English as Prince Akishino) and headed his own branch of the imperial family. Prince and Princess Akishino have two daughters and one son. Prince Fumihito received a PhD degree in ornithology from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies in October 1996. He conducted field research in Indonesia in 1993 and 1994, in Yunnan Province in the People's Republic of China. When the current Emperor was still Crown Prince, he introduced tilapia to Thailand as an important source of protein. Tilapia can be easily cultured and Prince Fumihito, who is also known as "catfish specialist," has managed to maintain and expand the aquacultural studies with the people of Thailand. He is a big fan of the Beatles and an avid tennis player.

Steven Severin (English musician, songwriter, composer, bass guitarist)

* Steven Severin (photographed in 1986, at left) was a co-founding member of English rock band, Siouxsie and the Banshees (1976-1996), along with vocalist Siouxsie Sioux.

Known as 'Steve Havoc' when he joined the Banshees, he took the name 'Severin' from the Leopold von Sacher-Masoch character that is the subject of the Velvet Underground song "Venus in Furs."

After the split of Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1996, Severin began a solo career and created his own label RE.

Steve 'Hizzy' Hislop, 1962–2003 (Scottish motorcycle racer)

* Steve Hislop won the Isle of Man TT eleven times, won the British 250cc Championship (1990) and won the British Superbike championship (1995 and 2002).

Hislop died when piloting his small, Robinson R44 helicopter on 30 July 2003. He was inducted into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame in March 2010.

Benedict Cumberbatch (English actor and film producer)

* A new biography of Benedict Cumberbatch gives his birth time as "12pm." If we take 12 a.m. as the start of the day, then 12 p.m. means noon. In which case, Cumberbatch has Pluto on the Ascendant - both in Libra - ruled by Venus in dramatic Leo.

Stephen Fry (English comedian, actor, writer, presenter)

* With a very close and very powerful conjunction of the Sun and Pluto on his 29° Leo Ascendant, Stephen Fry holds sway over the masses. An acclaimed comedian, he has won an Emmy, his books are bestsellers and he wields considerable influence through Twitter, having over four million followers. On the flipside, he has bipolar disorder and has attempted suicide on a number of occasions. Humour is perhaps his greatest asset, while the sextile from Neptune in the first degree of Scorpio to his tight triple conjunction is his saving grace.

Dean Beard, 1935–1989 (American rockabilly pioneer)

* Dean Beard was sometimes called the "West Texas Wild Man" because of his frantic stage presence and piano-playing style. His popular West Texas band was called Dean Beard and the Crew Cats.

Beard had a pretty wild combination of Pluto on his Ascendant ruling a Jupiter-Mars conjunction in Scorpio.

Bill Camfield, 1929–1991 (American TV personality, a.k.a. "Icky Twerp")

* Bill Camfield was a popular TV personality in Fort Worth, Texas, in the 1950s and 1960s. He is best known as the goofy character, Icky Twerp (shortened from "Ichamore Twerpwhistle"), host of Slam Bang Theatre, an afternoon kids’ show which presented cartoons and Three Stooges comedies. Camfield had a slapstick conjunction of Mars and Neptune in entertaining Leo. The Pluto-rising Camfield also hosted the horror film series Nightmare in the guise of Gorgon, an eerie, black-caped character with a sinister laugh.

Justin Bieber (Canadian pop musician, actor, singer-songwriter)

* In her 2012 autobiography, Pattie Mallette states that her son, Justin Bieber, was born "around one in the morning on Tuesday, March 1, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada." The unsourced birth time of "12.56 a.m." in Chas Newkey-Burden's 2010 Justin Bieber: The Unauthorized Biography is thus consistent with the info' provided by Mallette. Her statement also clarifies where the pop star was born. With a powerhouse combo of Pluto rising on an Ascendant in the last degree of Scorpio, Bieber is "the third-most powerful celebrity in the world."

Jennifer Carpenter (American actress)

* Jennifer Carpenter first attracted critical attention for her performance in The Exorcism of Emily Rose, taking home the 2006 MTV Movie Award for 'Best Frightened Performance.' Yet Carpenter is best known for her current role as the homicide detective, Debra Morgan, on the hit Showtime TV drama series Dexter, for which she won a Saturn Award in 2009.

Carpenter has killer/sleuth planet Pluto rising and ruling her scream-queen conjunction of Mercury and Uranus in Scorpio.

Carpenter's ex-husband, Michael C. Hall, plays her serial-killer brother on Dexter. His 8th-house Uranus is conjunct her Ascendant, and her Sun-Neptune is conjunct his MC-Venus (see his chart here).

Michael Francis Moore(born April 23, 1954) is the director and producer of Fahrenheit 9/11, which is the highest-grossing documentary of all time and winner of the Palme d'Or. His films Bowling for Columbine (2002) and Sicko (2007) also placed in the top ten highest-grossing documentaries, and the former won the Academy Award for Documentary Feature. In September 2008, he released his first free movie on the Internet, Slacker Uprising, which documented his personal quest to encourage more Americans to vote in presidential elections. He has also written and starred in the TV shows TV Nation and The Awful Truth.

Moore's written and cinematic works criticize globalization, large corporations, assault weapon ownership, U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, the Iraq War, the American health care system, and capitalism.

Heather O'Rourke, 1975–1988 (American child actress)

* Heather O'Rourke ― the child star of the Poltergeist film trilogy who died aged 12 from complications due to septic shock ― had Pluto closely conjunct her Ascendant and in a Mystic Rectangle. Poltergeist III was released posthumously. O'Rourke's tomb in Los Angeles is a scheduled stop for "Haunted Hollywood" tours. How very, very, mystic Pluto.

Heather O'Rourke was discovered at the age of five by director Steven Spielberg while eating lunch with her mother at the MGM commissary. Spielberg cast her as Carol Anne Freeling, a little girl abducted by ghosts in the 1982 horror film Poltergeist. She would go on to reprise the role of Carol Anne in the second and third installments. In addition to her roles in the Poltergeist film series, O'Rourke also had a recurring role on Happy Days from 1982 to 1983, and made several television guest appearances. O'Rourke died at the age of 12 of cardiac arrest and septic shock caused by a misdiagnosed intestinal stenosis on 1 February 1988.

Bill Roorbach (born August, 1953 Chicago, Illinois) is an American novelist, short story writer, memoirist, nature writer, journalist, blogger, and critic.

Bill Roorbach was born August, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois. In 1954 his family moved to suburban Boston, Massachusetts where he attended kindergarten. In 1959 the family moved to New Canaan, Connecticut, where he attended public schools from first grade on. He graduated in 1976 from Ithaca College cum laude with a B.A. in Individual and Interdisciplinary Studies. He later earned his MFA from Columbia University in 1990. He was a fiction editor of Columbia: A Magazine of Poetry and Prose. He married the painter Juliet Karelsen, in June 1990. In 2000, their daughter, Elysia, was born. Bill taught at the University of Maine at Farmington, from 1991 to 1995. He taught at the Ohio State University from 1995 to 2001, winning tenure in 1998. In 2001, he quit his tenured position and returned with his family to Maine for three years of writing full-time.

In 2004, he was awarded the William H.P. Jenks Chair in Contemporary American Letters at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, a five-year position as full professor. He commuted from Maine. In 2009, he returned to full-time writing, and completed a new novel, "Life Among Giants," published by Algonquin Books in Nov., 2012. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, Harper's, Playboy, The Missouri Review, Granta, and many other magazines and journals. His story "Big Bend" was featured on the NPR program Selected Shorts, performed by the actor James Cromwell.

Freddie Prinze Jr. (Updated Astrology data and chart)

Freddie James Prinze, Jr. (born March 8, 1976) is an American actor. He rose to fame during the late 1990s and early 2000s, after starring in several Hollywood films aimed at teenage audiences, I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), as well as She's All That (1999), Summer Catch (2001), Scooby-Doo (2002) Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004) and Delgo (2008). Prinze has also had acting roles in television shows, including Friends, Freddie and 24. He is married to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, and currently works for WWE as a producer and director.
