Hank Williams Jr., AKA Bocephus (American singer-songwriter and musician)

* Hank Williams Jr.'s musical style is often considered a blend of Southern rock, blues, and traditional country. He is the son of legendary country music singer Hank Williams and the father of Hank Williams III, Holly Williams, Hilary Williams, Samuel Williams, and Katie Williams.

Williams began his career by following in his famed father's footsteps, singing his father's songs and imitating his father's style. Williams's own style slowly evolved as he struggled to find his own voice and place within the country music industry. This trend was interrupted by a near-fatal fall off the side of Ajax Peak in Montana on 8 August 1975. After an extended recovery, he challenged the country music establishment with a blend of country, rock, and blues. Williams enjoyed much success in the 1980s, from which he earned considerable recognition and popularity both inside and outside the country music industry.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Williams's repertoire of skills include guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, steel guitar, banjo, dobro, piano, keyboards, harmonica, fiddle, and drums.

Salman Khan (Indian film actor, producer and television personality)

* Salman Khan has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide, and is cited in the media as one of the most popular and commercially successful actors of Hindi cinema. He was ranked 7th in Forbes's first global list of highest-paid actors in the world with USD 33.5 million, earning more than Hollywood actors like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Khan established himself in Bollywood in the 1990s with roles in several top-grossing productions. After a brief period of decline in the 2000s, he achieved greater stardom in the 2010s by playing the lead role in several successful action films, including Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Kick (2014) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). He has starred in the highest-grossing Bollywood films of nine separate years which is a Bollywood record. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the 2008 – Rajiv Gandhi Award for Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment.

In addition to his acting career, Khan is a stage performer and an active humanitarian through his charity organisation Being Human with his Brother Sooban Ahmad Khan. Khan's off-screen life is marred by controversy and legal troubles. His tumultuous relationship with Aishwarya Rai, hunting of endangered species, and a negligent driving case in which he ran over five people with his car, killing one, have been extensively covered by the Indian media. For the last of these, Khan was sentenced to a five-year imprisonment in 2015. Later on Salman was acquitted of all charges in the hit-and-run case by the Bombay High Court.

Kate Bornstein (American author, playwright, performance artist, gender theorist)

* Having been designated male at birth and then received sex reassignment surgery in 1986, Kate Bornstein identifies as gender non-conforming, saying "I don't call myself a woman, and I know I'm not a man", and prefers the gender neutral pronouns "ze/hir" in place of "she/her" or "he/him".

Bornstein has written about having anorexia, being a survivor of PTSD and being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Bornstein has chronic lymphocytic leukemia and in September 2012 was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Bornstein and partner Barbara Carrellas live in New York City with three cats, two dogs and a turtle.

Ross Ulbricht (American founder of internet black market Silk Road)

* Ross Ulbricht, also known by his online alias, Dread Pirate Roberts, is the former owner and manager of the online marketplace Silk Road and its successor darknet markets. In October 2013, he was arrested and accused of being the manager of the Silk Road website, though he denies this. Ulbricht faced charges of money laundering, computer hacking, conspiracy to traffic narcotics, and procuring murder; though the murder charges were later dropped. In June 2015 Ulbricht was convicted of the charges and given a life sentence.

He has subversive, underground, "darknet" and "black market" Pluto in Scorpio as the final dispositor of his chart. If Chiron is included in the delineation, Pluto drives the locomotive shape of his chart, pushing Saturn in Scorpio first, and unaspected Mars in Scorpio (an alternative, traditional final dispositor) second.

James Hong (American actor and director)

* James Hong's acting career spans more than 61 years and includes more than 350 roles in film, television, and video games.

Hong's well-known screen roles include the immortal ghost sorcerer Lo Pan in John Carpenter’s cult classic Big Trouble in Little China, the eye manufacturer Chew in Blade Runner, Evelyn Mulwray's loyal and vigilant butler in Chinatown, and the maître d' in the well-known Seinfeld episode "The Chinese Restaurant."

Known as the "man of a thousand faces," Hong has Neptune opposite (and ruling) the Sun in Pisces in the 12th house, with the Sun also widely conjunct his Pisces Ascendant. Perhaps Neptune could be called the "planet of a thousand faces," especially when it's personalized along with its sign (Pisces) and house (12th)!

Norman Chaney, 1914–1936 (American child actor)

* Norman Chaney appeared in nineteen Our Gang comedy films as "Chubby" from 1929 to 1931. The popular, moon-faced Chaney had the Cancerian decan of Pisces on his Ascendant.

In 1935, he underwent treatment for the glandular ailment that had caused his weight to reach 300 lb (140 kg), and his weight subsequently dropped to less than 140 lb (64 kg). Chaney became seriously ill afterward and died from myocarditis at 4 AM on 29 May 1936 at age 21, according to his death certificate.

Joseph Mohr (Austrian Roman Catholic priest and writer)

* Joseph Mohr wrote the words to the Christmas carol "Silent Night" [German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht"]. He had Mercury unaspected in Capricorn in the 10th House. The song was first performed by a choir with Mohr on guitar because the local church organ wasn't working. An 1820 manuscript of the song surfaced publicly in 1995, having been held in a private collection for 175 years. Written by Mohr, it states that he wrote the words in 1816. They were put to music in 1818. The U.S. copyright office has registered 733 versions of the song, recognized as the best known and most popular of carols. Unaspected planets can work in weird and wonderful ways.

However, the child Josephus Francisca's parents Franz Moor and Anna Schoiberin are listed in the Annex for illegitimate children. In the baptismal register IX / 2 (1756-1814) of the Salzburg Cathedral Parish [it] can be found as the last entry for the year 1792: ... Renato Russo, 1960-1996 (Brazilian singer, songwriter, musician)

* Renato Russo was born right on an Aries New Moon with both luminaries aspected by Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto. His first band, the punk rock group with the Plutonic name "Aborto Elétrico" (Electric Abortion) eventually split into two different bands: "Capital Inicial" and "Legião Urbana". Under Russo's leadership and the good fortune of his Jupiter and Neptune, Legião Urbana sold around 20 million albums during Russo's lifetime.

Michael Zühlke‏ (German pornstar)

* What does a guy need to become a pornstar? Michael Zühlke‏ (alias Pornfighter Long John) has a 23.5 cm (9.25 inch) genital appendage which no doubt helped, but certainly so did his Scorpio stellium including Mars in the 9th House. Sagittarius and the 9th are all about abundance and excess. Zühlke‏ has Pisces on his ascendant ruled by Neptune in Sagg in the 9th: he has performed in or produced 2300 erotic films. Orville Couch, 1935-2002 (American country music singer)

* Orville Couch recorded one studio album for Vee Jay Records in 1963, in addition to appearing on radio shows. The album produced two singles on the Billboard country music charts: "Hello Trouble" at No. 5 and "Did I Miss You?" at No. 25. Couch died in 2002 of acute limphoblastic leukemia.

Bill Boyd, 1910–1977 (American Western style singer and guitarist)

* In 1932, Bill Boyd formed the pioneering western swing band "The Cowboy Ramblers" with himself on guitar. The Cowboys Ramblers made more than 225 recordings between 1934-1951. The band had their own popular radio show, "The Bill Boyd Ranch House." In 1935, the Cowboy Ramblers had a huge hit with their recording of "Under the Double Eagle" which later became a western swing standard and remained in print for twenty five years. Other classics of the 1930s include "I've Got Those Oklahoma Blues", "Fan It", "Wah Hoo", "Beaumont Rag" and "New Steel Guitar Rag". The Cowboy Ramblers became major stars on radio and were offered work in Hollywood films and Boyd eventually appeared in six Western films during the 1940s. For his contribution to radio, Bill 'Cowboy Rambler' Boyd has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6101 Hollywood Blvd.

Clint Ballard Jr., 1931–2008 (American songwriter)

* Clint Ballard Jr. wrote two Billboard Hot 100 number one hits. The first was "Game of Love" by Wayne Fontana and The Mindbenders in 1965. The second was the 1975 hit, "You're No Good" by Linda Ronstadt (first sung by Dee Dee Warwick). He also wrote "I'm Alive" for The Hollies, which was number one in the UK Singles Chart in 1965; and also "Good Timin'" for Jimmy Jones which reached number one in the UK in 1960.
Why a songwriter? Ballard had the Sun in wordsmith Gemini (in the 3rd house) at the apex of a T-Square involving his Pisces Ascendant and its ruler, musical Neptune.

Noble Willingham, 1931–2004 (American television and film actor)

* Noble Willingham was best known for his role as C.D. Parker on the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger from 1993 to 1999. Parker is a retired Texas Ranger, and Walker's buddy and ex-partner who owns a bar-restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas. Willingham played Parker in 141 episodes.

Willingham also appeared in more than thirty feature films, including Chinatown (1974), The Boys in Company C (1978), Independence Day (1983), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), City Slickers (1991), Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994) and Up Close & Personal (2001).

Willingham had Jupiter unaspected in Leo in the dramatic 5th House, conjunct his Part of Fortune. Lucky guy.

Kim Fowley (American record producer, singer, impresario, songwriter, musician, filmmaker, radio actor)

* Kim Fowley is best known for his role behind a string of novelty and cult pop rock singles in the 1960s, and for managing the all-female rock band The Runaways in the 1970s. He has the very musical and female combination of Venus in Cancer in the 4th House (at the apex of a Cardinal T-square involving an opposition of the ruling Moon and Jupiter). Fowley has been described as "one of the most colorful characters in the annals of rock & roll" and as "a shadowy cult figure well outside the margins of the mainstream." His tight T-square involves Mars in the last degree of Capricorn opposite Pluto in the first degree of Leo, all square Saturn in the first degree of Taurus. There's enough tension in that pattern alone to make for a very driven and compelling personality, not to mention Pluto conjunct Sun (his autobiography is called Lord of Garbage).

George P. Mitchell, 1919-2013 (American billionaire, businessman, "fracking" pioneer, philanthropist)

* George P. Mitchell — credited with pioneering the "fracking" business — died on Friday, aged 94, of natural causes. Fracking involves extracting natural gas from shale rock formations in the ground by fracturing it with pressurized liquid, and it has proved very controversial due to its environmental impacts. Mitchell innovated the process called "slick-water fracturing" which has enabled fracked gas to become the fastest growing contributor to total primary energy (TPE) in the USA. In his chart, Mitchell had the first degree of the polemical Scorpio decan of Pisces on his Ascendant, ruled by gassy-watery Neptune opposite his Moon in a T-square to Mercury in Taurus. Another T-square has a Saturn-Uranus opposition with a Mars-Sun conjunction at its apex in earthy Taurus. The "father of fracking" had the paternal Sun in the final degree of the rock-hard Capricorn decan of the Fixed Earth sign. Venus (ruler of his stressed Taurus planets) is conjunct Pluto, Jupiter and the Part of Fortune, all in Cancer in the 4th House, closely conjunct the Venus-Jupiter-Sun stellium in the chart of the USA.

George Phydias Mitchell (May 21, 1919 – July 26, 2013) was an American businessman, real estate developer and philanthropist from Texas credited with pioneering the economic extraction of shale gas.

He started an independent oil and gas company, Mitchell Energy & Development Corp. and built it into a Fortune 500 company. He participated in the development of about 10,000 wells, including more than 1000 wildcat wells.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the company pioneered new technology[clarification needed] for horizontal drilling of natural gas. This technique, combined with hydraulic fracturing of rock, makes it possible to economically extract natural gas from shale rock formations. The new approach has been widely adopted by the gas industry and spawned a new gas boom in North America.

In 2004, Forbes magazine estimated his net worth as $1.6 billion, placing him among the 500 richest people worldwide. He has signed The Giving Pledge (making a commitment to give most of his wealth to philanthropic causes).

Tony Mendez (American spy, artist, author)

* Tony Mendez has an ideal chart for a CIA spy: a Sun-Mercury conjunction in Scorpio and Mars in the 8th (unaspected except for a wide square from Pluto — nobody will blow his cover). Mendez also has Neptune (ruler of his Pisces Ascendant) in a wedge with his luminaries: in his memoir, The Master of Disguise, Mendez reveals how he forged documents, created disguises and handled other graphical work related to espionage — cunning tricks and insights that helped save hundreds from deadly situations. He is played by Ben Affleck in the film Argo. Affleck's Pluto is conjunct Mendez's Neptune.

Antonio Joseph "Tony" Mendez (born 1940) is an American CIA technical operations officer, now retired, who specialized in support of clandestine and covert CIA operations. He has written three memoirs about his CIA experiences.

Mendez was decorated, and is now widely known, for his on-the-scene management of the "Canadian Caper" during the Iran hostage crisis, in which he exfiltrated six American diplomats from Iran in January 1980. They posed as a Canadian film crew, and as part of their cover, the diplomats carried passports issued by the Canadian government to document them as Canadian citizens.

After declassification of records, the full details of the operation were reported in a 2007 article by Joshuah Bearman in Wired magazine. This was loosely adapted for the screenplay and development of the Best Picture Academy Award winning 2012 American film Argo, directed by Ben Affleck, who also starred as Mendez. Mendez also attended the Golden Globes to give a speech, where the film was nominated (and later won) for Best Dramatic Motion Picture.

Mendez worked as a CIA officer in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. His work in the agency frequently dealt with forging documents, creating disguises and handling other graphical work related to espionage. He served in the CIA for 25 years. He was awarded the Intelligence Star on 12 March 1980.

John Jacob Niles, 1892-1980 (American balladeer)

* John Jacob Niles - called the "Dean of American Balladeers" - often accompanied himself on an Appalachian dulcimer, lute, or other plucked stringed instrument. He had both luminaries in vocalist Taurus in the airy 3rd House, ruled by plucky Venus in Gemini. "I Wonder As I Wander" is the title of one of his signature songs and of his biography. In his chart, Jupiter-the-wanderer (ruler of his Sagittarius MC) was unaspected except for a sextile to Neptune-the-wonderer which rules his Pisces Ascendant.
