John Myers (British radio executive, consultant and presenter)

* John Myers is the Chairman of the UK Radio Academy Awards, Executive Chairman and owner of Myers Media and the former Chair of The Arqiva Commercial radio awards. Myers developed the Century Radio brand for Border Radio Holdings in the early 1990s, launching two more stations later in the decade. He presented programmes under the pseudonym "John Morgan". He then became Chief Executive of GMG Radio, developing the Real Radio, Smooth Radio and Rock Radio brands and overseeing GMG Radio's acquisition of the Century network from GCap Media. He served as Chief Executive of The Radio Academy from April 2011 until June 2012.

In 2009, he was asked by the Labour Government to produce a report on the future of local radio in the UK ("The Myers Report") which was published by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in April 2009. A number of his recommendations were taken up by the Digital Economy Act 2010, leading to, amongst others, mergers within the Heart and Smooth Radio networks. Myers reviewed efficiencies at four BBC radio stations during the first quarter of 2011 and, in late 2011, began reviewing BBC Local Radio stations in response to the Delivering Quality First cuts.

He is currently chairman of TeamRock, a new worldwide content and distribution business based in London and Glasgow.

Percy Sutton, 1920–2009 (American political and business leader, civil-rights activist and lawyer)

* Prominent African-American civil-rights activist Percy Sutton became one of America's best-known lawyers during the 1950s and 1960s. He represented many controversial figures, such as Nation of Islam leader, Malcolm X. After the murder of Malcolm X in 1965, Sutton and his brother Oliver helped to cover the expenses of his widow, Betty Shabazz.

Sutton was the highest-ranking African-American elected official in New York City when he was Manhattan borough president from 1966 to 1977, the longest tenure at that position. He later became an entrepreneur whose investments included the New York Amsterdam News and the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

In 1971, Sutton cofounded the Inner City Broadcasting Corporation which purchased New York City's WLIB-AM, the city's first African-American-owned radio station.

Dorian Leigh, 1917–2008 (American supermodel)

* Texan beauty, Dorian Leigh, was one of the earliest modelling icons of the fashion industry. She is considered one of the first supermodels, and was well known in the United States and Europe.

In 1952, when she was 35 years old, Richard Avedon photographed her for Revlon's most famous advertising campaign, Fire and Ice.

Her New York Times obituary noted that Leigh "combined pristine blue eyes, curling eyelashes, an arresting intelligence and intoxicating sexuality to become one of history’s most photographed models." The Guardian praised her "aerodynamic eyebrows."

Her stellium of planets in Taurus (including Sun, Moon and Venus) apparently manifested in exceptional good looks while Aries rising propelled her pioneering spirit.

Brian Mulroney (Canadian businessman, politician and lawyer)

* Brian Mulroney was the 18th Prime Minister of Canada from 17 September 1984 to 25 June 1993.

In his Memoirs he quotes his mother's diary for a birth time of 10:17pm, giving him a Scorpio ascendant, with its ruler Pluto trine his close Sun-Moon conjunction at 29 Pisces-00 Aries.

The Pluto factor probably facilitated his overseeing of the passage of the unpopular Goods and Services Tax.

Nick Wooster (American creative consultant, fashion designer, businessman)

* Nick Wooster is described on Wikipedia as "a street style icon." He has worked with Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus chain stores, as well as Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren and Thom Browne brands.

In 2012, Wooster designed a collection of shirts for the American brand Hamilton 1883. In 2014-2015, he created two joint collections with Japanese brand United Arrows. Also in 2014, Wooster designed a collection with the Italian house Lardini, presented at the men's fashion exhibition Pitti Uomo in Florence. In 2015, he designed a capsule collection of clothes from merino wool in cooperation with the Swedish brand The White Briefs, also presented at Pitti Uomo.

Wooster is known for wearing tailored blazers, a handlebar moustache and tattoo sleeves.

Biz Stone (American businessperson, computer programmer, blogger)

* Biz Stone is one of the four co-founders of Twitter which started in 2006 and today has more than 500 million users. His two Grand Air Trines explain his knack for channelling his computer and information technology skills into a successful business career. One trine involves Moon-Uranus, Mercury and Saturn, and the other includes Pluto, Venus and Mars.

Chiron is often prominent in the charts of vegetarians and Stone, who is a vegan involved in animal welfare and environmental causes, has Chiron high in the sky.

Ross Ulbricht (American founder of internet black market Silk Road)

* Ross Ulbricht, also known by his online alias, Dread Pirate Roberts, is the former owner and manager of the online marketplace Silk Road and its successor darknet markets. In October 2013, he was arrested and accused of being the manager of the Silk Road website, though he denies this. Ulbricht faced charges of money laundering, computer hacking, conspiracy to traffic narcotics, and procuring murder; though the murder charges were later dropped. In June 2015 Ulbricht was convicted of the charges and given a life sentence.

He has subversive, underground, "darknet" and "black market" Pluto in Scorpio as the final dispositor of his chart. If Chiron is included in the delineation, Pluto drives the locomotive shape of his chart, pushing Saturn in Scorpio first, and unaspected Mars in Scorpio (an alternative, traditional final dispositor) second.

Barron Hilton (American billionaire, business magnate, philanthropist)

* Barron Hilton — a rare "Triple Libran" with Sun, Moon and Ascendant in the sign of the Scales — has struck a good balance between giving and receiving. Pluto on his MC manifested in his inheritance of his father Conrad's Hilton Hotels Corporation, and he has since pledged to donate 97% of his estate (several billion dollars no less) to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, his father's charity which is dedicated to "relieve the suffering, the distressed, and the destitute." Barron Hilton has an interesting conjunction of generous Jupiter and humanitarian Uranus making the handle of a Bucket shape. He can certainly afford to give away buckets of money — literally!

William Barron Hilton I (born October 23, 1927) is an American business magnate, socialite, and hotel heir. He is the former co-chairman of the Hilton Hotels chain. He is one of the sons of Conrad Hilton (founder of Hilton Hotels).

* Handsome hotel heir, Conrad Hilton Jr., had maidenly Venus in Gemini smack-bang on his Ascendant and with no close aspects except for a sextile to its ruler, Mercury in glamour-puss Leo. He liked the ladies and he is remembered for his short marriage to one beautiful future star in particular. Conrad Nicholson "Nicky" Hilton, Jr. (July 6, 1926 – March 31, 1969) was an American socialite, hotel heir, businessman, and TWA director. He was one of the sons of Conrad Hilton (founder of Hilton Hotels).

Hilton was born in Dallas, Texas. His father was Conrad Nicholson Hilton, founder of Hilton Hotels, and his mother was Mary Adelaide (Barron). George P. Mitchell, 1919-2013 (American billionaire, businessman, "fracking" pioneer, philanthropist)

* George P. Mitchell — credited with pioneering the "fracking" business — died on Friday, aged 94, of natural causes. Fracking involves extracting natural gas from shale rock formations in the ground by fracturing it with pressurized liquid, and it has proved very controversial due to its environmental impacts. Mitchell innovated the process called "slick-water fracturing" which has enabled fracked gas to become the fastest growing contributor to total primary energy (TPE) in the USA. In his chart, Mitchell had the first degree of the polemical Scorpio decan of Pisces on his Ascendant, ruled by gassy-watery Neptune opposite his Moon in a T-square to Mercury in Taurus. Another T-square has a Saturn-Uranus opposition with a Mars-Sun conjunction at its apex in earthy Taurus. The "father of fracking" had the paternal Sun in the final degree of the rock-hard Capricorn decan of the Fixed Earth sign. Newsmaker: Cooper Hefner (American businessman, Playboy heir).

* This month, Cooper Hefner will start running Playboy enterprises with the continued help of his 87-year-old father, Hugh Hefner.

Cooper is the youngest son of Playboy creator Hugh Hefner. Following his graduation in film production studies in May 2013, Cooper will inherit Playboy enterprises and start running the company with the continued help of his father and advisors. The younger Hefner sees this as his chance to re-introduce the magazine to a modern audience.

* Born in 1963 or 1964?? Elle Macpherson tweeted today that she is turning 49 yet other accounts claim she is now 50.

Elle Macpherson (born 29 March 1963) is an Australian businesswoman, television host, model, and actress. She is well known for her record five cover appearances for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue beginning in the 1980s, leading to her nickname "The Body". She is also known as the founder primary model and creative director for a series of business ventures, including Elle Macpherson Intimates, a lingerie line, and The Body, a line of skin care products.

In 2010, she became the host and executive producer of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model. She is currently the host and an executive producer of NBC's Fashion Star.
