Adolf Hitler, 1889-1945 (birth records published online)

* Adolf Hitler's birth records have been published on the Braunau History website. These records include the entry in the parish/rectory book stating his birth on 20 April 1889 at "6½ Abends" (6:30 in the evening) and baptism on 22 April at "3¼" (3:15pm), and his birth announcement. Previously his data was rated AA (quoted birth records) but we now have "AA" birth records in hand.

Joseph Mohr (Austrian Roman Catholic priest and writer)

* Joseph Mohr wrote the words to the Christmas carol "Silent Night" [German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht"]. He had Mercury unaspected in Capricorn in the 10th House. The song was first performed by a choir with Mohr on guitar because the local church organ wasn't working. An 1820 manuscript of the song surfaced publicly in 1995, having been held in a private collection for 175 years. Written by Mohr, it states that he wrote the words in 1816. They were put to music in 1818. The U.S. copyright office has registered 733 versions of the song, recognized as the best known and most popular of carols. Unaspected planets can work in weird and wonderful ways.

Dezember 1792 mittags 12 Uhr in Salzburg geboren und wenige Stunden später im Dom getauft. Sein Name steht beim Erzbischöflichen Konsistorial- archiv Salzburg im selben Taufbuch, in dem sich auch der Name Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus [lat. Amadeus] Mozart befindet. Allerdings ist das Kind Josephus Franciscas der Eltern Franz Moor und Anna Schoiberin im Anhang bei den unehelichen Kindern aufgeführt. Im Taufbuch IX/2 (1756-1814) der Salzburger Dompfarre kann man als letzte Eintragung für das Jahr 1792 folgenden mit lateinischen Abkürzungen versehenen Vermerk finden . . . Dezember 12 Uhr mittags geboren und 4 Uhr nachmittags getauft worden ist Joseph Franz, natürliches Kind [Filius Naturalis] Franz Moor, Musketier und Anna Schoiber, beide ledigen..."

Translation: Joseph Mohr was born on 11 December 1792 at 12 o'clock noon in Salzburg, and baptized in the cathedral a few hours later. His name is recorded in the Archbishop's Konsistorial- archive in Salzburg in the same parish register which records the name Joannes Chrysostom Wolfgangus Theophilus [lat. Amadeus] Mozart. However, the child Josephus Francisca's parents Franz Moor and Anna Schoiberin are listed in the Annex for illegitimate children. In the baptismal register IX / 2 (1756-1814) of the Salzburg Cathedral Parish [it] can be found as the last entry for the year 1792: ... On December 12 was born at noon and baptized at 4 clock in the afternoon: Franz Joseph, natural child [Filius Naturalis] of Franz Moor, Musketeer and Anna Schoiber, both unmarried...

Conchita Wurst (Austrian singer, fashion designer, gender illusionist)

* In May 2014 Conchita Wurst (AKA Tom Neuwirth) won the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with the song "Rise Like a Phoenix." An apt song title for her Scorpio stellium, including Sun conjunct Pluto. The gorgeous Conchita has Taurus rising ruled by Venus conjunct the Moon in Libra, surely showing excellent prospects for her fashion design career. With her trademark beard, she has an unusual appearance that challenges traditional concepts of gender and sexuality: Uranus in the 8th House quincunxes her Ascendant and in turn is ruled by Jupiter in her 1st House.

SOURCE: Sy Scholfield quotes Tom/Conchita's mother Helga Neuwirth in the Austrian documentary, "Conchita Wurst: To Eurovision" (ORF, 2014; viewed on SBS2 TV, Australia, 5 June 2014, English subtitles), in which she says that she was in labour with Tom/Conchita for 12 hours "from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m."

Marie-Louise von Motesiczky (Austrian exiled artist)

* During the Nazi annexation of Vienna in 1938, Marie-Louise von Motesiczky and her mother fled her homeland of Austria to seek refuge in London where she would be based for nearly six decades, working among other exiled artists. As an artist-foreigner, she embodied the archetype of her Venus in Sagittarius. With her Sun rising at 29° Libra, it was only at the end of her life that Motesiczky gained recognition as one of Austria’s most important 20th-century painters. Her biography is titled "the undiscovered expressionist": Venus, as ruler of her Sun and Ascendant, is unaspected except for a restrictive square from a retrograde Saturn.

Marie-Louise von Motesiczky was born in Vienna to an aristocratic family. As her family included Jewish descent, she had to flee the Nazi annexation of Vienna in 1938. Motesiczky, accompanied by her mother Henriette, fled to London. Following the end of the war, Motesiczky exhibited her paintings in many European institutions and she continued to work from her house in London, where she lived only with her mother and a single maid. Motesiczky's major breakthrough in the UK occurred in 1985, with a major retrospective at the Goethe Institute in London, which generated much acclaim and saw her reputation as a major Austrian artist cemented. She died in London on June 10, 1996.

Paul Rosbaud (New Astrology data and chart)

* Scientist Paul Rosbaud spied for England during the second world war. Time of birth from his biography, The Griffin.

Paul Rosbaud (18 November 1896 – 28 January 1963), was a metallurgist and scientific adviser for Springer Verlag in Germany before and during World War II. He continued in science publishing after the war with Pergamon Press in Oxford, England. In 1986 Arnold Kramish revealed the undercover work of Paul Rosbaud for England during the war in the book The Griffin. It was Rosbaud that dispelled anxiety over a "German atom bomb".
