* Scotty McCreery won season ten of American Idol on 25 May 2011, becoming the first American Idol winner who was born in the 1990s. His debut studio album, Clear as Day, was released in October 2011 and was certified platinum in the United States. The album includes the top 20 country songs, "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble with Girls." He also released a Christmas album, Christmas with Scotty McCreery, which has been certified gold.
Poised to become "country's newest superstar," 19-year-old McCreery has Chiron on the Ascendant in rural Virgo and Venus rising in the vocal Taurus decan. Jupiter seems to be associated with country music: McCreery has Jupiter conjunct his Sun and closely square his Moon. And his Sun-Jupiter conjunction in musical Libra forms the apex of a T-square. The unaspected Mars-Mercury conjunction in Scorpio in the 3rd house says a lot about his trademark deep voice.
